THINGS I LOVE ABOUT EGYPT

1. The people and that simplicity of daily living. Starting with the clothing and till the smiles you see when they meet each other on the streets. In Egypt I didn’t see drunk people on the street which was a big thing for me. Everyone is doing anything to earn a living and making everything possible to survive in any conditions. 2. The genuine humor. Many times I saw the people finding some facts comic, facts that for me as European was something which would make me laught years ago not today. They still find random events as being funny, they make fun in a very old style, for us westerns, but is a type of humor I missed. When you come from a country where in every joke there is a sexual nature reference, the jokes in Egypt seem too natural, too clean and so genuine. 3. The weather. Must know about Egypt I have seen lots of foreigners, tourists coming to Egypt and being surprised by cultural things, that for a local or someone who lives here for a long time, are regular, normal, something not out of ordinary. What you already know about Egypt is that it's a country with great monuments and with a history full of ups and downs. Everywhere you find information about ancient Egypt and Egyptians, but what about the nowadays Egypt ? Of course that the history is important, but we live and get to see what Egypt has to offer today. Here are things no one will tell you about, especially in the actual political and social national and international situation. 1. Egypt is safe! One of the questions most foreigners ask is about safety in Egypt. Being an Islamic and middle eastern country and having some internal conflicts in the past years, make people ask themselves many times if it's OK to travel here.
